What Do You Think?
On page 87, Yolanda says that she had what teachers would say a "vivacious personality." She could always make guys blush and laugh, and always had a group of callers following her. What do you think the word vivacious means?

  1. Thanks Monica for all the definitions!

I believe the word "vivacious" may mean like positive attitude or happy.

  2. yeah, you're right. (: vivacious actually means "full of animation" and "lively," which is similar to being happy and having a positive attitude. The teachers used to say that Yolanda had a vivacious personality because she was always outgoing when she was around boys.

  3. It probably means something like, confident too. In order to be outgoing around boys, you have to obtain some confidence.

Mona is definitely vivacious! loll :D
